Offering lingerie

Offering lingerie in a nice packaging You can't decently offer lingerie to antbody. Its a present that can only be made to thos with whom you share a real intimacy and relation. How would you feel if you boss's new year card came embedded with a thong? Seems wrong... Lingerie is important and should not be offered daily to anybody with no meaning. It has a meaning emphasized if its offered by a man to a woman he cares about.

Who can you offer lingerie to?

As you know, offering lingerie requires the good circumstances and it can't be offered to anyone. Depending on your relation with the reciever and whether you're a man or a woman, rules aren't the same.

If you're a woman :

you may offer lingerie to your close friends, sisters, cousins, and eventually to your mother depending on your relationship but don't dare extend this permission to your grand-mother or step-mother and so on. You may even buy lingerie with her so she can try it and be sure it fits her perfectly or if you buy it alone, be sure to check her sizes before.

If you're a man :

First of all, be carefull and think of the one who recieves the lingerie or it could turn ugly. Being a man, you may only offer lingerie to your girlfriend, your fiancée or wife and even though you can extend this to your mistress or even mistresses, you should know we don't approve. All of the above should appreciate the gesture and it show that you pay attention to her and take pride of her looks. While you may take her lingerie shopping and choose with her a lingerie that you'll both enjoy, you should know that lingerie vendors can try to make you uncomfortable.

The best choice still is to go lingerie shopping alone, add a few roses and deliver a perfect surprise... You should check her sizes first and the brand of the lingerie you checked the sizes on since sizes differ between brands. If you can't for any reason get her sizes, take a few pictures of her and the vendor should be able to help you with the right or approximate size.

What can you offer?

Once again, the rules that apply aren't the same whether you're a man or a woman and the person you'll be offering it to. Women can pretty much offer anything to each other playing the "I though it would be funny card" but when you're a man thing get tricky since you can't buy anything. It has to suit the women's taste which isn't as easy as it seems. You don't want to hurt her feelings with the wrong choice. We recommend you begin soberly with quality classic lingerie in colors you know she'll like and you've already seen her wear. Try to stay in the styles you know. Her age and mind state might influence your choices. Don't buy disney panties to your wife.

Special occasions like valentine's day are ideal for offering lingerie and allows you to go a little further (but just a little) in choosing the right lingerie. Once you get used to her taste, let your mind free and choose what you like the most in the limits of what she'll wear.

For what occasions?

Almost any is the right answer as long as there is one. May it be valentine's day, christmas, her birthday or your anniversary, lingerie is the easy way (right after diamonds). You can also create the occasion if you've got someting you need to be forgiven for.

As it is, lingerie is a very special present that you can't offer lightly. You need to put some thought into it to make it right. And be shure to have a nice packaging to go with it so evrything is perfect. On a last note, you shouldn't let the vendor choose for you and you should remember what you offered so you can compliment her when she wears it... Otherwise, you're good to start all over again to be forgiven...
